The only time to eat diet food is while you’re waiting for the steak to cook.” ― Julia Child

This week’s feature Friday dish is presented by my sister, Toni.  When I asked her what dish she had enjoyed and has been dreaming about all week she immediately said the tenderloin salad at Stephanie’s on Newbury.

Grilled Tenderloin Salad

Grilled Tenderloin Salad
marinated sliced tenderloin of beef served over field greens and romaine lettuce, tossed with candied walnuts, crumbled gorgonzola, baby tomatoes, roasted beets, crispy fried shoestring potatoes and red wine vinaigrette

In her words…  “the juicy steak cut like butter and melted in your mouth like chocolate.  Marinated in something delicately sweet which paired perfectly with the crunchy fresh salad, in particular the beetroot that tasted nothing like it does at home in England – just sublime.  I also absolutely loved the red wine dressing and super crispy shoestring potatoes.”  I guess she was a fan.

Do you have a favorite dish you would like to feature on a Friday?
