2024 Vintage Rosé of Pinot Noir, Game of Rosé x Styring Vineyards
So, my friend Stacey sent up the Rosé Bat Signal: one of our favorite wineries, Styring Vineyard & Winery, had added a Rosé to their lineup. Naturally, I did what any reasonable person would do—I immediately emailed my contact there and ordered six bottles. No hesitation. Zero chill.

Turns out, this wine is a collaboration with Game of Roses, a podcast out of LA that’s all about Bachelor Nation and now it would seem wine. So already, I knew this bottle was going to have personality.
When the delivery finally landed, I opened the box and grinned. The label is bold and edgy—think cool tattoo vibes—and the name Game of Rosé? Love it!
I grabbed the tasting notes from the winery and set off on my own little tasting adventure. Let’s talk aromas: they say rose petals, florals, fresh berries, and harvested hay. I definitely got the florals and fresh berries—especially strawberries. It smells like summer in a glass, but the kind of summer where you’re doing cannonballs and breaking the rules, not politely sipping cucumber water in the shade.
Then came the first sip—and WHOA. It comes in hot with that pink grapefruit zing. Tart, bright, and unapologetically bold. Right after that, the strawberries show up to the party. The winery describes this one as “not sweet” but full of character, and I’m nodding along with my glass in hand. It’s definitely best served chilled—and trust me, chill it like it just had a long day and needs a spa moment.
This is not your delicate, dainty Rosé. This one has tattoos, listens to punk rock, and probably has a motorcycle parked outside. It’s intense, full of flavor, and has a rebellious flair that shakes up the usual light-and-breezy Rosé scene.
I sipped and scribbled for a good 30 minutes (for science), and the strawberry notes just kept getting bolder. This wine has real pizzazz—yes, I said pizzazz—and it’s totally dinner-worthy.
The winery suggests pairing it with stuffed peppers, veggie-loaded pizza, or butter-poached salmon. Honestly? All of that sounds amazing. But you do you—pair it with popcorn and bad reality TV if that’s your vibe. No judgment here.
Bottom line: Game of Rosé is a whole mood. Bold, vibrant, and ready to crash your dinner party—in the best way possible.
