About this Recipe
This recipe started as a classic pomegranate martini, but with a cheeky addition of bubbly (my idea and I stand by it being an amazing one), it became the star of the evening. Fizzy, fruity, and fabulously potent, itâs a toast-worthy treat thatâs perfect for any celebration.
Ingredients
- Ice
- 2 oz. fresh pomegranate juice
- 1 1/2 oz. vodka
- 1/2 oz. Cointreau
- 1/2 oz. fresh lemon juice
- Sparkling wine (Champagne if your feeling flush, Prosecco or cavaâchoose your sparkle!)
- Pomegranate seeds and a sprig of rosemary, for that festive flair
I will say I would have been lazy and bought pomegranate seeds, but Deb decided on seeding a full fruit, which is no easy feat đ€Ł. She is a martini legend đž
Step by Step Instructions
Step 1: Chill the Stage
if you feel inclined (we didnât), pop your martini glass into the freezer for 15 minutes to give your cocktail the perfect frosty start.
Step 2: Shake It Up
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add the pomegranate juice, vodka, Cointreau, and fresh lemon juice. Shake it like you mean it until the shaker feels frostyâabout 20 seconds of party prep energy.
Step 3: Sparkle & Serve
Strain the mixture into your sugar-rimmed glass, leaving a little room at the top. Top it off with a splash of sparkling wine for that fizzy finale. Garnish with a sprinkle of pomegranate seeds and a sprig of rosemary for a show-stopping finish.
Cheers to cocktails that dazzle as much as the company you keep! đ„
