More than anything what Shoesday Tuesday is clearly showing me is that I have a shoe problem… a serious shoe problem, a fantastically, wonderful, happy shoe problem… but a problem nevertheless. The fact that I keep finding shoes which I completely forgot I bought is very telling of this issue.
These shoes were purchased online, quite randomly and only a few months ago, when I was perusing the cyber shoe world for no particular reason. I came across these very nice tan brown part suede shoes with a cute ankle strap and nice heel, bought them and promptly put them on the top shelf, still in the box in my closet and even worse, as you can see I didn’t even take them out of the box. How bad is that? I feel so ashamed.
When looking for my weekly pair of different shoes to wear, I noticed the box and with a curious look inside, I thought yay new shoes! What a surprise. I know there are more. I do still feel a little bit ashamed.
I have purchased quite a few pairs of Franco Sarto shoes over the years as they are a great price and you can usually find a pair for any occasion… work, play, going out.
In order to defend myself to you (and to myself) I did forget about them because I bought them during the summer and of course it wasn’t the right weather once our summer fully hit. Luckily, they are still online and still at full price so I don’t feel as bad as I would have if they were on sale and I had never worn them… phew.
So, today is the day to showcase these “new” shoes. They do hurt just a little bit.
