2012 was brought to a close for me by vacationing in Cabo with my good friend, Kerry. Six nights away from home staying at the Melia Cabo Real all-inclusive resort gave me a much needed break and not a bad way to start 2013.
Cabo San Lucas was originally a small fishing village, which has become one of Mexico’s top tourist destinations over the past 15 years. Located in the state of Baja California Sur, Cabo is bordered by both the Pacific Ocean and the Sea of Cortezand offers everything from a secluded beach getaway to some of the finest dining, amazing sightseeing and something for those that are looking for outrageous fun. Our trip was more on the low key side.
Our trip was sadly affected by some unfortunate weather on a number of the days; however that just forced us to get out and explore a little. We did everything from Glass Blowing to Margaritas and enjoyed every second of it.
A highly recommended destination getaway.

Looks like a perfect vacation!
What a gorgeous photo. I’m definitely looking forward to getting away to the Caribbean later this month.
Sorry to hear the weather wasn’t always cooperative for you on your vacation. Thanks for sharing the beautiful photo of Cabo. Other than the weather, it sounds like it was a great trip!
