Ah, summer—the season of beach days, barbecues, and the ever-present quest for the perfect bottle of wine. It’s still 80 degrees here in Chicago so our summer is lingering beautifully with warm days and cool evenings. If you want to keep summer going even longer, look no further because Hill Family Estate’s 2022 Cuvée Charlotte can save saying goodbye. You’re welcome in advance.
A delightful blend of 37% Viognier, 31% Sémillon, 15% Sauvignon Blanc, 9% Muscat Canelli, and 8% Muscat Blanc, this wine is a glorious symphony of grapes. Each sip is like getting a well-timed compliment—balanced, smooth, and totally memorable. Honestly, this bottle is as impressive as your friend who just got promoted but still remembers how to have fun at happy hour.
Pop this bad boy open, gather your friends, and watch yourself become the evening’s unsung hero. They’ll ask, “Where did you find this?” To which you can reply, “Oh, just a little something I know.” (Feel free to add a casual shrug for effect.)
Why settle for boring wine when Cuvée Charlotte is like a summer fling in a bottle—exciting, easy-going, and destined to leave you wanting more? Remember, life’s too short to drink something you can’t pronounce. Luckily, this wine is as fun to say as it is to sip. Cheers!
Notes from the Estate. These grape varieties create a lovely bouquet of tropical fruit and floral aromatics that have been creatively expressed in a one-of-a-kind watercolor by our dear friend, Ivy Zellmer. Each flower represents an aroma that is found in the wine, and if you look closely, there is a hidden horse that symbolizes Charlotte Hill’s passion as an avid equestrian. This wine honors the fifth generation of farmers in California. Only 330 cases produced.
