The world is in a continuing pandemic. My home of Chicago is in the midst of a bleak single digit winter weekend with what seems like constant snow fall and I am once again trying to make the most a cozy movie weekend. Movies never fail to brighten my day and lift me up.
Itâs Valentineâs Day weekend and what better movie to watch whether alone, with a friend or with loved ones than Valentineâs Day. I went to see this movie opening week back in 2010 and then purchased it on DVD as soon as it came out. After that I have watched it every year on Valentineâs Day and honestly never get bored of watching the superb all-star ensemble cast entertain us with short intertwining stories of awkward first dates, old love, loss and Valentineâs Day.
If you havenât seen it, I do encourage you to give it a go, take it for what it is as a delightful Rom Com and enjoy with a glass of wine.
