The 2025 Rosé Round-Up
Summer is here, and that means I must Rosé my day (and entire personality) until further notice. It’s been four years since I last shared a list of my favorite pink drinks, so here are my Top 5 Rosés for 2025—because happiness looks a lot like a chilled bottle and an empty patio chair.
Hill Family Rosé of Pinot Noir
This rosé is the liquid equivalent of that friend who shows up unannounced, brings snacks and stories, and leaves you wondering where the time (and the wine) went. It’s soft, fruity, and so smooth it practically sings Barry White. Nicola and I found our Mancunian accents creeping back after a few glasses—so, if you suddenly start narrating your life like a British soap opera, don’t say I didn’t warn you.
Why You’ll Love It: It’s a smile in a glass with just enough sass to keep things interesting—perfect for memory-making, giggle-sharing, and accent-slipping.
Sequoia Grove Rosé of Grenache
This beauty has just the faintest blush—like the grapes shyly tiptoed into summer rather than doing a cannonball. On the nose: soft stone fruit and a whisper of citrus. On the palate: dangerously drinkable. Elegant, crisp, and light enough to convince you that brunch should last until dinner.
Why You’ll Love It: It’s the rosé you think you’ll have just one glass of… then find yourself planning a themed brunch and group outfit. Light, lovely, and slightly mischievous.
Vintage Rosé of Pinot Noir, Game of Rosé x Styring Vineyards
They say the aroma is rose petals, florals, berries, and hay. I say it’s a summer cannonball into a pool of strawberries with a rebellious grapefruit kick. This is not your shy, delicate rosé—it’s got edge. It’s got energy. It probably owns leather boots and listens to indie bands you’ve never heard of. Bold, tart, and unapologetically fun.
Why You’ll Love It: For when you’re feeling a little wild, a little loud, and fully committed to not drinking basic rosé. Chill it like it needs a day at the spa.
Rams Gate Winery Rosé
Meet the summer fling your taste buds didn’t know they needed. This striking deep-pink stunner is a party of Pinot Noir, Mourvèdre, and Grenache—a stylish wine thrupple that works so well together, it’s almost suspicious. Bright citrus aromas flirt with your nose, while juicy strawberry notes keep things playful on the palate.
Why You’ll Love It: It’s flirty, fresh, and just the right amount of fancy. A showstopper for pool parties, picnics, or that Tuesday when you just feel like winning at life.
Frog’s Leap La Grenouille Rougante Rosé
Back on the list for good reason, this one is the definition of “refreshing.” Pale pink like a summer sunset, it greets you with a clean, mineral nose and delicate flavors of cantaloupe and peach. Zippy, crisp, and light as a breeze—basically, the wine version of your favorite white linen shirt.
Why You’ll Love It: It’s your go-to for Wine Wednesday, patio therapy, or anytime life needs soft lighting and a chilled glass of perspective. Bonus: pairs beautifully with “Do I need another glass?” (You do.)
