Wine Review: 🍷 Hill Family Estate Origin 2022 🍷 A Wine Review: 🍷 Hill Family Estate Origin 2022 🍷 A dark wine that pours seriously… but with very happy vibes. Think ripe plums, playful vanilla, and dark berries that glide across your palate like a slow waltz. Silky. Smooth. Very Gene Kelly-coded. 💃🕺 It’s an insanely light-heavy wine (yes, I said what I said)—light on the tongue, heavy on the palate, and completely heavenly. 💸 Worth the splurge: Around $60 and absolutely earns it. This is a clear your evening, light a candle, no rushing kind of bottle. 🍽 Pair it with: Rosemary lamb chops, a juicy pepper-crusted steak, or a cozy mushroom risotto. Drama encouraged. 🎬 Movie night pick: Singin’ in the Rain, Midnight in Paris, or anything perfect for a cold, lazy weekend when sweatpants are mandatory. Pour generously. Not too sweet, actually delicious, and yes—helpful in other ways we don’t need to discuss further. Two-day batter situation (overnight chill required), but worth the wait. Even my friend loved them, so it’s not just me convincing myself bran is fun. Naturally, I recreated it at home because that’s what we do when soup lives rent-free in our heads. This one is hearty, cozy, easy, and smells like you’ve got your life together. Bonus points if you pair it with a Sangiovese or Chianti, because soup deserves wine too 🍷 Serve with all the Parmesan.
