Last Fall I became an American Citizen.

Faneuil Hall
I have lived in Boston for more than 17 years and for quite a while I have been calling America my home. While I have pledged allegiance to a new country, my heart and of course my accent will always remain very British.

Officially an American
I took the Oath at the most historical places in the US, Faneuil Hall. It was a beautiful, emotional and wonderful day!

A big smile on a great day!
Tomorrow I celebrate my first Independence Day as an American. While there is a certain amount of irony involved with me being British, I cannot wait to actually enjoy a BBQ as a true American.

My office upon return to work 🙂
I hope everyone has an amazing and wonderful holiday!
