On Wednesday, I decided not to work late, which is commonplace for me right now and instead joined my friend Stacey at one of my favorite restaurants, Brasserie Jo.  I have always loved this place and the second I heard this is where we were meeting, I knew exactly what I was going to order…  Coq au Vin.   Served in its own little pot the rich, creamy red wine sauce is filled with fall off the bone tender chicken, salty chunks of thick bacon, succulent pearl onions with a side of spaetzel.   Enjoyed with a French 75 I really could not have been any happier for those few hours.
