Shoesday Tuesday 2016

For this week’s Shoesday Tuesday I thought I would come up with something a bit different.  Imelda Marcos was running through my mind in her high heels along with her famous quote about how many pairs of shoes she owned and the fact that it was actually “ONLY” 1,060 pairs!!!!  Just a few more pairs than I own!

I thought why not search for some other quotes and share them.

To be honest, I am so so very tired, I just picked up the first pair of shoes that went with my outfit this morning and realized I have worn them before, which goes against my plan for Shoesday Tuesday.  I hope you will forgive me :).

“I did not have three thousand pairs of shoes; I had one thousand and sixty.”

“I never wear flats. My shoes are so high that sometimes when I step out of them, people look around in confusion and ask, “Where’d she go?” and I have to say, “I’m down here.”
– Marian Keyes

“Sometimes comfort doesn’t matter. When a shoe is freakin’ fabulous, it may be worth a subsequent day of misery. Soak in Epsom salts and take comfort in the fact that you’re better than everyone else.”
– Clinton Kelly

“For women, shoes are the most important. Good shoes take you good places.”
– Seo Min Hyun

“I really think guys only need two pairs of shoes. A nice pair of black shoes and a pair of Chuck Taylors.”

“These are my new shoes.  They’re good shoes.  They won’t make you rich like me, they won’t make you rebound like me, they definitely won’t make you handsome like me.  They’ll only make you have shoes likeme .  That’s it.”
– Charles Barkley
